This three hour class at Green Olive at Red Hill, winery and olive grove on the Mornington Peninsula, covers everything pasta; the types of flour needed for pasta, dough making, equipment you will need and ingredients used in filled pasta’s such as tortellini.
You’ll learn to mix the ingredients, knead, rest, roll and cut the dough to shape. This is a hands on, step by step class also covers pasta fillings with ingredients hand picked from our farm garden. You'll also gain knowledge about extra virgin olive oil and how to best use this great ingredient in your pasta and other cooking.
Once the hard work is done, sit down, admire the view of the vineyard, kitchen garden and dam whilst enjoying the fruits of your labours with a glass of Estate grown wine.
Bookings are essential and can be made via their website.
This event also runs on Saturday the 13th of November.
About Green Olive Red Hill
Since 2002 Green Olive have been cultivating their farm. They've established a vineyard; built a farm kitchen and store; launched farm classes, tours and tastings; created Green Olive food, cordials and wines; sourced useful kitchen products and inspiring cook books and branched out with their own farm body care products.
The 27-acre farm is situated in the hinterland six kilometres from the bay and seven kilometres from the ocean. They're located one hour from Melbourne, in the beautiful wine-growing region of the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. With rich volcanic soils, cool climate and 'between the bays' location, it's the ideal place for growing good food and wine.
